Responsibilities  

As a Coordinator, you will play a pivotal role in helping drive impact on the longevity economy initiative across the Centre for Financial and Monetary Systems and at Uplink:  

  • Collaborate with and coordinate between Forum teams, UpLink team and external stakeholders to
  • Supporting colleagues with all aspects of Uplink Innovation Challenges, through 6 phases of completion
  • Provide support to the longevity economy initiative with a special focus on innovation through research, community engagement, and note taking of community and stakeholder meetings
  • Excel as a coordinator and administrator for virtual and in-person events, workshops and institutional meeting.

 

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree, preferably in a relevant field such as economics, international relations, or healthy aging
  • 2+ years of professional experience in coordination-related work, ideally in financial services and/or healthy aging
  • Ability to collaborate with and coordinate effectively between internal and external stakeholders
  • Demonstrate excellent organizational, project and time management skills, and possess high attention to detail.  In addition, excellent writing, presentation and communications skills a plus. 
  • Knowledge of or willingness to learn about longevity, innovation, and finance
  • Excellent verbal communication skills, including the ability to communicate with and manage expectations of senior executives and their staff with confidence
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint and Excel
  • Ability to thrive in a demanding environment and handle multiple tasks and assignments simultaneously 
  • Self-starting, independent thinker who thrives as a flexible team player 
  • An enthusiasm to collaborate with people from a diverse range of cultures and backgrounds 

Vaccination requirement

The Forum LLC requires that employees be fully vaccinated with at least one booster against COVID-19 by their first day of employment. The Forum will evaluate all requests for accommodation/exemption from this policy in keeping with federal, state, and local law.
