Position Summary

Assistant Professor in Government and International Relations (tenure-track, 4-4 load) beginning August 2017.

Qualifications

Knowledge Skills and Abilities

The successful candidate will have the ability to teach upper division courses in American government, judicial politics and/or public law and a wide range of lower division courses within the field. A strong commitment to undergraduate education is essential.

Required Education

Candidates must have a Ph.D. in American Politics (ABDs considered) with a specialization in judicial politics or public law by July 2017.

Required Work Experience

The successful candidate will have at least one year of demonstrated university-level teaching experience in the discipline.

Preferred Qualifications

Two or more years of demonstrated university-level teaching experience in the discipline.
