The Department of Political Science invites applications for a tenure-track assistant professor to begin Fall 2017 semester. The successful candidate will possess a doctoral degree in political science with a primary specialization in comparative politics. The topic/region is open, and our preference is for a candidate who has a second specialization in international relations. The candidate must have a willingness to teach in our online MA program. This position carries a 3-3 teaching load.
Educational Requirements for the Position
A Ph.D. in political science, government, politics, or international relations is required. ABD will be considered but must have a Ph.D. by the start date (September 2017).
Experience Required for the Position
The department seeks a scholar with research experience in comparative politics.
Other Requirements for the Position
The candidate must have a willingness to teach in our online MA program.
