Democracy Reporting International (DRI) is a non-partisan, independent, not-for-profit organisation registered in Berlin. Democracy Reporting International promotes political participation of citizens, accountability of state bodies and the development of democratic institutions world-wide.
DRI is currently recruiting a full-time Director of Programmes (f/m). As DoP, you will be based in DRI’s Berlin headquarters, and will be responsible for the overall management of the Programme Unit and its - currently seven - country offices across three continents. Working closely with the Executive Director, who leads on strategy and content, you will ensure that DRI’s programmes achieve the organisation’s mission statement and respect the funding partners’ aims and procedures. The position may be changed to Deputy Executive Director at a later stage.
Your specific tasks as DoP include:
You will liaise closely with the Director of Finance and Administration to ensure that the requirements of programmes are aligned with other legal and administrative policies and obligations. The DoP reports to the Executive Director. Together with the Director of Finance and Administration, the three positions form DRI’s executive team.
The salary will be determined based on DRI’s salary grid and the professional experience of the selected candidate.
