The Department of Politics and Philosophy at the University of Idaho (http://www.uidaho.edu/class/politics-and-philosophy) invites applications for a clinical position at the rank of assistant professor in political science. Successful candidates will be from the field of international relations/comparative politics, and will be able to contribute undergraduate courses to the political science and international studies curriculums. The appointment is expected to begin in mid-August 2017. Duties will include undergraduate and graduate teaching and advising, scholarly research, and service. The standard teaching load is eight courses per year. Salary is competitive and contingent on experience.
The department is particularly interested in recruiting candidates who display the highest standards of excellence in teaching, research, and professional activity. A PhD in Political Science is required prior to the appointment start date.
