Position description

The Department of Political Science at the University of Cincinnati seeks a one-year Visiting Assistant Professor in the fields of international relations and/or comparative politics with a focus on security studies. The successful candidate will be expected to teach courses on “War and Security” and “Terrorism and Insurgency” in the fall semester, “US National Security: Institutions, Process and Policy” in the spring semester, and three additional courses in the area of international relations or comparative politics. A capacity to teach a course on cybersecurity strategy and policy would be ideal. These courses will contribute to the undergraduate programs in International Affairs and Political Science, the Certificate in Security Studies, and the multidisciplinary Cyber Studies major. The successful candidate will be invited to participate in the department's research colloquia for faculty and PhD students.
