Duties shall include, but not limited to researching, exploiting, organizing, prioritizing, producing, and disseminating intelligence information to support the APRC mission. Analyst shall employ analytic skills to assess a wide range of topics such as military-political leadership, national military strategy, strategy and doctrine, regional relations, security posture, and their respective impact on force development in Northeast Asia.
All-source analyst with experience in Northeast Asia political-military or military capabilities analysis.
Knowledge of a wide range of concepts, principles, and practices in political and military issues and skill in applying this knowledge to difficult and complex work assignments.
Familiarity with applying analytical and evaluative techniques for developing new or modified intelligence work methods, approaches, or procedures; and the identification, evaluation, and recommendation of solutions to complex issues and/or problems.
Knowledge of military forces/defense and security issues to include national security strategy, foreign policy and leadership structure is also required.
Knowledge and experience integrating military-political assessments on regional issues and be familiar with intelligence-related systems and databases.
Korean or Japanese language capability is highly desired.
