Full time Faculty and Lecturers
Full-time faculty are sought to teach College Courses in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. General Studies Areas: Psychology, Sociology, Chemistry, Biology, English, Computer Science, History, Communication, Political Science and Math. Specialty Areas: Intelligence Studies, Homeland Security, Criminal Justice.
The Ministry of the Interior, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, has launched a new, four-year bachelor's degree program at the King Fahd Security College (KFSC). The University of New Haven is advising KFSC in the development of this degree program, and assisting KFSC in recruiting faculty. These positions are appointments to the faculty in residence at the KFSC in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, and candidates will be selected by the Ministry of Interior.
These positions are not faculty appointments at the University of New Haven.
A very competitive salary and benefits package is available for qualified candidates. Appropriate graduate/advanced degrees and college teaching experience required. Appointments of up to three years are available, with shorter-term temporary appointments also possible.

The KFSC is charged with providing the highest quality security-related baccalaureate education to create the next generation of leaders for the Ministry of Interior. The University of New Haven has been engaged by the KFSC to assist them fully in transforming their current one-year, post baccalaureate leadership training program into a four-year bachelor's degree program in security studies.
The first cohort of students was admitted in Fall 2016 to a four-year bachelor's of science program in security studies. The program seeks to deliver an innovative curriculum in a technology-enabled active learning environment with small class sizes. This initiative builds upon over seven years of cooperation and interaction between the Henry C. Lee College of Criminal Justice and Forensic Sciences at the University of New Haven and the Ministry of the Interior.
All faculty appointments will be for 9 months and will carry a 3/3 teaching load and require research, service, and other duties consistent with KFSC academic policies. All instruction will be in English. Applicants should clearly demonstrate:
Successful applicants will be able to demonstrate their personal interest (or prior experience) in working in Saudi Arabia or other Gulf Cooperation Council countries.
