About the Position: This position is in the Defense Civilian Intelligence Personnel System (DCIPS). Employees occupying DCIPS positions are in the Excepted Service and must adhere to U.S. Code, Title 10, as well as Department of Defense Instruction 1400.25. This position is located at the USA TANK-AUTOMOTIVE & ARMAMENTS CMD, ASST COS FOR INTEL & SECURITY, G-2, WARREN, MI.

Responsible for the TACOM security to include: personnel, information, Operation Security, foreign disclosure, physical, and industrial security.
Plans, organizes, and/or conducts project briefings instructing personnel on the proper procedures for protecting and marking classified and sensitive unclassified information.
Develops Operations Security measures to safeguard sensitive unclassified information.
Conducts surveys of government facilities for facilities to engage in classified work.
Inspects areas where classified material will be located and determines type of storage facilities, safes, alarms, locks, and fences.

To qualify based on your experience, your resume must describe at least one year of experience which prepared you to do the work in this job. Specialized experience is defined as: Specialized experience is defined as: experience working with applying security program support, policy and procedures in one (1) or more of these areas: Information Security, Operations Security and Physical Security. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GG/GS-09).
Specialized experience is progressively responsible intelligence-related security work directly related to the position being filled. Creditable experience may include previous military experience, experience gained in the private sector or in another government agency as long as it was at a level at least equivalent to the next lower band in the series.
To substitute education for the required experience for the GG-11 grade level, applicant must have a Ph.D. or equivalent doctoral degree or three (3) full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree or LL.M., if related.

Must be able to acquire and maintain a TOP SECRET security clearance and sensitive compartmented information (SCI) access to perform duties and responsibilities of the position.
In accordance with Change 3 to AR 600-85, Alcohol and Drug Abuse Prevention and Control Program, the incumbent of this position must successfully pass a urinalysis screening for illegal drug use prior to appointment and periodically thereafter.
