This is an opportunity to apply your solid export compliance experience to help plan, prepare and process Department of State and Commerce export and import transactions. This role requires advanced ITAR and EAR knowledge and you will be empowered to use your strong organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills to work effectively with the export team and our internal/external customers.We are seeking a dynamic candidate, who can think outside the box, is open to challenges, new ideas, and change, can direct an export program with a real team approach and the ability to deliver timely compliant solutions to export issues.

This person will oversee and ensure that the international business activities are conducted in full compliance with all relevant US Government regulatory requirements. This must be accomplished concurrent with providing the highest level of customer service to our internal and external customers, and in a manner that ensures program objectives are fulfilled.


  • Experienced ITAR and EAR professionals with a minimum 7 years of export compliance experience required
  • US Citizenship required
  • Bachelors degree in Business, International Trade or similar subject
  • Expertise in analyzing, interpreting, and applying ITAR and EAR export regulations and maintaining current knowledge of changes
  • Strong export classification experience especially with ITAR Categories XI, XII, XIII, XV and EAR Categories 3, 4, 5(parts I and II) and 500/600 series items
  • Thorough knowledge with export screening requirements, export authorizations, international shipping documents, and incoterms
  • Ability to analyze transactions for due diligence and ability to identify trade compliance requirements
  • Ability to prepare and update processes and work instructions
  • Ability to handle multiple priorities, work well under pressure and interact effectively with a diverse group of individuals
  • Strong analytical, organizational,attention to detail, communication and issue resolution skills

Experience with Amber Road Global Trade Management system a plus
