Position description

The U.S. Conference of Catholic Bishops’ Office of National Collections has an opening for a Grants Administrator to support its programs in Latin America and Africa. This position provides administrative coordination of all grant inquiries, applications and payments as well as support to the Grant Specialists and Directors as they evaluate completed applications. This includes data entry; importing on-line applications; corresponding with applicants regarding grant guidelines, requirements, supporting documents, and wire transfer information; final report follow up and preparation of files for Director’s review.


Bachelor Degree required; study in International Affairs, Business, or equivalent preferred.  Minimum of two (2) years of related experience. Knowledge of Catholic Church vocabulary and structures. Strong computer skills and aptitude including proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Adobe Professional. Extensive experience with database systems. Strong prioritization skills with attention to detail. Knowledge of Microedge GIFTS or other grant management software highly desirable. Bi-lingual, English and Spanish (oral and written).
