The SIS Intelligence Analyst is responsible for the production of intelligence products as well as the regular monitoring of online open sources for potential security and operational threats. The Intelligence Analyst reports directly to the SIS Intelligence Manager. 

Specific Duties and Responsibilities 

Essential Job Functions 

  • Conduct regular monitoring sweeps through online open sources and social media for known and potential threats to company security, operations, and reputation 
  • Effectively analyze threats and produce actionable intelligence deliverables in a timely manner 
  • Leverage employee databases, travel tracking solutions, and GPS 
  • Conduct in-depth research on a wide range of issues pertaining to global security, such as: petty and violent crime trends, disruptive protests, weather conditions, natural disasters, travel issues, reputational concerns, as well as socio-economic dynamics
  • Provide international travelers with destination security assessments, local news monitoring, and real-time emergency support, if needed 
  • Conduct preliminary investigations, event monitoring, and social media 
  • Lead the development of new intelligence products as well as analyzing existing intelligence products to provide recommendations for improvement 
  • Assist in identifying potential high-interest intelligence data through extensive data mining of internal and open source materials 
  • Edit intelligence reports written by fellow Intelligence Analysts 

Additional Job Functions 

  • Perform other related duties and special project functions as assigned



  • Master’s Degree in Regional Studies, Strategic Studies, International Relations, Political Science, Economics or equivalent military/professional intelligence training 


  • Minimum 2+ year’s of academic or professional experience in research, analysis and development of intelligence products/reports 
  • Thorough knowledge of security procedures, life-safety, and business continuity 
  • Demonstrated analytical and problem solving skills 
  • Must possess advanced skills and experience in collecting and analyzing large quantities of data to produce notifications, assessments, and reports 
  • Excellent time-management, communication, technical writing, presentation, facilitation, and organizational skills required 
  • Must be flexible and posses the ability to function in stressful situations 
  • A dependable team player with business maturity, enthusiasm, and a positive attitude 

Language Requirements 

  • Fluency in Mandarin is a strong preference

Technical Skills 

  • Proficiency in ArcGIS is highly preferred
  • Strong familiarity with all major social media platforms 
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Photoshop, and Mapping software 
  • Experience with investigative and risk management tools desired 

Assessment Method 

  • Competency-based interview. A written exercise and foreign language test will be conducted.
