Position description

The Embedded Analyst / Mentor, will be a member of a technical team supporting the USMC and responsible for the fielding, training, integration, and enhancement of a cutting-edge analytical platform. The mentor will become an analytic expert on these systems and look for ways to increase customer efficiency and capability. This team works in full collaboration with the end user to ingest, enrich, analyze, and display all-source intelligence data to derive actionable intelligence value for tactical and operational users. The successful candidate must be self-driven, creative, and team-oriented. Additionally, the successful candidate must demonstrate a high degree of problem solving ability and be able to communicate effectively.


  • Train and mentor a wide range of intelligence analysts on how to increase their proficiency and expertise using the Palantir platform; assist users in producing quality intelligence reports and briefings on a regular basis 
  • Troubleshoot technical and analytical problem sets with Palantir and apply creative solutions 
  • Capture, triage and create a demand for training requests in accordance with the customer’s strategic training plan
  • Provide network maintenance for servers and laptops through software updates and hardware component replacement

Preferred Experience:

  • USMC or USN experience
  • BA/BS in Economics, International Relations, Engineering/CS, Sciences, Mathematics, or Intelligence Analysis
  • Security+ certification
  • Technical experience working as a network administrator or maintainer; working knowledge of basic network administration tools, processes, and software 


  • Experience conducting intelligence analysis (civilian or military) and conveying that analysis in written reports and briefings
  • Experience working with the Palantir analytical platform as well as other intelligence analysis and visualization tools and databases (e.g. Analyst Notebook, AxisPro, TIGR, ArcGIS, or DCGS-A)
  • Ability to teach deskside and classroom based curriculum relating the customer’s problems against the analytical platform’s capabilities
  • Ability to collaborate and communicate with technical and non-technical personnel
