Cuso International has an opportunity for a Global Lead, Gender Equality & Social Inclusion (GESI). The Global Lead, GESI is the subject matter expert for the promotion and strengthening of GESI-related programming, processes, tools, and related activities of Cuso International. Around the world, our work in this area ranges from advocating for the rights of women and girls to promoting positive masculine identifies for men and boys to strengthening access to and the quality of sexual and reproductive health services. Working within a team of highly talented experts, this role is central to successful program delivery, high-quality technical assistance, and knowledge management.
With five years of professional experience in international development with a GESI focus, you will proactively work with field and headquarter staff to provide technical assistance and enable the successful delivery of GESI activities throughout the project life-cycle. Your expertise with gender-based violence and/or sexual and reproductive health and rights of women and girls, promotion of positive masculinities and social behaviour change communications, or the economic and/or social empowerment of women as it relates to power and participation in decision-making, will allow you to provide evidence-based guidance and thought leadership for program design, budgeting, and resourcing. With excellent knowledge of monitoring & evaluation practices, including Results-Based Management (RBM), you will support the design and implementation of a MEAL framework for ISEG activities. Your ability to autonomously manage a complex and demanding workload, while inspiring teams and encouraging innovative thinking will be key to your success in this role. You also have advanced proficiency in French and/or Spanish.
