Position description

This role within the Global Corporate Responsibility and Sustainability (CR&S) team will be responsible for supporting the delivery and execution of WorldClass, Deloitte’s societal impact initiative to empower 50 million futures by 2030. This role is in Deloitte Touch Tohmatsu Limited (Deloitte Global) within Global Brand. It will report to the Manager, Corporate Responsibility and Sustainability.


In particular, the role will require the ability to lead and support: program design and implementation, project management, research and analysis, and developing and managing internal and external relationships. 


We are seeking someone who has demonstrated commitment to Corporate Responsibility, Sustainability, or a related field. Experience in consulting in a professional services organization, program implementation, communications campaign implementation, and demonstrated ability to navigate working in a global context with multiple countries is preferred. Work experience and academic studies in one or more of the following fields is preferred: public policy, politics, international affairs, social and environmental issues management, education, cross-sector collaboration and partnerships, non-profit management, and/or economic development. 

Your role

Role specific responsibilities

  •  Support CR&S team to successfully deliver strategic CR&S projects (planning, implementing, documenting, communicating, and follow-up) with multiple stakeholders. 
  • Concurrently manage portions of multiple CR&S projects in a fast paced, results-oriented environment.
  • Work with the Deloitte network to help address specific global CR&S project needs and deliver the global strategy. 
  • Participate actively with points of view, ideas, opinions and other input in meetings, discussion and other forums.
  • Develop understanding of project strategies to complete assigned deliverables with limited supervision.
  • Management of key stakeholders/contributors at various levels of seniority, from staff to senior partners, across DTTL, Deloitte member firms, and external organizations.

Project management

  •  Contribute to the implementation and support project management of new and existing programs and initiatives implemented through the global CR&S strategy.
  • Assist in scheduling, planning, hosting, and facilitating events and meetings. 
  • Create and manage project plans, timelines, and key measures of success. 
  • Prepare progress and status reports.
  • Escalate open items for troubleshooting/resolution
  • Support meeting, event, conference, and seminar planning, as required.

Stakeholder engagement


• Develop strong working relationships across the Deloitte network globally and local leaders who are actively involved in the delivery of the global CR&S strategy. 
• Represent the team to the highest standards in interactions with CR&S stakeholders, working group members, the broader CR&S network across Deloitte Global and the network of member firms, and external stakeholders. 
• Establish relationships with other Deloitte Global functions and teams, member firm CR&S teams, and member firm client service functions working in social impact and sustainability, in order to support program delivery. 

Communications

  • Contribute to the development and roll-out of communications and advertising strategies, in collaboration with CR&S leaders, global Brand, Talent, Marketing, and Communications teams. 
  • Contribute to internal and external communications initiatives, including, but not limited to: Deloitte Global’s Annual Report, internal and external website content, internal communications, newsletters, speeches, press releases, social media postings, online content, and advertising campaign. 
  • Develop content for presentations and reports to the Deloitte Global CEO, Executive, Board, Societal Impact Council, Brand, Talent, Marketing, and Communications leaders and others, as required. 

Research and analysis 

  • Actively scan the external environment for news, trends, opportunities, and risks. Maintain an ongoing understanding of Deloitte’s marketplace positioning. 
  • Conduct primary and secondary research to inform the global CR&S strategy, including desktop research, issue analysis, and internal consultations/ interviews. 
  • Prepare research summaries, written and verbal briefings, and presentations synthesizing findings and recommendations.

Qualifications

Education (degree): BA or BS in one of the following fields preferred: Business; Economics; Public Policy; International Affairs; Politics, Philosophy and Economics; Sustainability; Corporate Responsibility 

Other (Explain): Master of Business Administration (MBA), Master of Public Policy and Administration (MPP or MPA), Master of International Affairs/ Development, Master of Sustainability/Corporate responsibility or similar. 
Ability to speak more than one language is preferred, but not required
