Position description

Rabin Martin is in search of an energetic individual to join our growing firm as an Associate. Candidate should have experience in global health and a preferred background working in professional services. 

The ideal candidate is a strategic thinker with a strong background in research, program management and stakeholder relations. Candidates must be comfortable working across the private and public sectors, and strong internal and external communications skills, both verbal and written.

The ideal candidate will be able to start immediately to support a range of global health initiatives. In this role, the Associate will:

  • Support development and implementation of short and long-term client global health strategies and programs 
  • Write, edit, and prepare strategy recommendations, landscape and peer analyses, issue briefs, proposals, and other client deliverables
  • Conduct stakeholder interviews and help manage and coordinate relationships with stakeholders from various sectors (government, NGO, corporate, multilateral)
  • Articulate ideas to clients and colleagues through oral presentations and written assignments   
  • Periodic travel may be required


Candidates should have the following experience and skills:

  • Creative, organized, flexible; ability to work independently and in a fast-paced team setting to respond effectively to client needs
  • Exceptional writing and research skills, including ability to understand technical literature, interpret data and present information in a clear, compelling and easy-to-understand way
  • Strong analytical (qualitative and quantitative) skills 
  • Creative, organized; ability to work independently and in team setting 
  • Preferred experience working in a client services environment 
  • Ability to manage multiple competing priorities 

Education and Work Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in public health, public policy, international affairs or a related field preferred with at least with 3+year relevant full-time work experience
  • Master’s degree in public health, public policy, international affairs or a related field preferred with 2+ year relevant full-time work experience and 1+ year relevant internship or fellowship experience
  • Work experience in resource-limited settings in low or middle income countries (preferred)
