The Department of Political Science and Public Administration at Auburn University at Montgomery invites applications for a tenured position in international relations starting in January or August 2019. The position is open with respect to expertise in international relations; teaching expectations include undergraduate and graduate courses in international relations, and at least one course in the master’s degree program in public administration in a relevant area of international policy. Supervision of students in the doctoral program is expected.
The successful candidate will hold the endowed Khaled Chair in Political Science and International Policy, which comes with a stipend, research support, and a reduction in teaching load for a three-year term (renewable upon a satisfactory review). We welcome applications from candidates at any rank. Appointment will be made at the associate or full professor level depending on the applicant’s credentials. Applicants must be a specialist in international relations or international affairs with a Ph.D. in political science, international affairs, international relations, or public policy.
