The Department of Political Science at the University of New Hampshire invites applications for a tenure-track assistant professor in International Relations starting August 2020.
The department seeks research and teaching expertise primarily in international relations, international security and/or human security. Preference will be given for regional and linguistic expertise in sub-Saharan Africa, Russia, or Eurasia. The position will enhance departmental strengths in international relations and contribute to realizing UNH’s strategic goals of internationalization and sustainability. The successful candidate will teach a variety of undergraduate and graduate courses in international security and international relations. The expected teaching load is two courses per semester.

The ideal candidate will have a PhD in hand, an active research program, evidence of excellence in scholarship, and a commitment to outstanding teaching.
