Radio Free Asia (RFA), a private, nonprofit, multimedia news corporation with a human rights focus, is seeking a social media-savvy individual with a passion for free press and human rights, an interest in Asia, and a professional background or demonstrable interest in foreign policy, international experience, and nonprofits to provide administrative support and research services in its Washington, DC, offices on a part-time contract basis. Scope of work will include researching foreign policy and developments affecting RFA's broadcast region and countries; helping to draft and prepare monthly reports focusing on RFA's programs and reporting, company and issue-specific overviews, web content, social media posts, and press releases; and providing administrative and meeting/event support. This work requires strong attention to detail and organizational skills; thorough and informed research skills; and the ability to be flexible in daily duties, which may change according to need. Fluency in written and spoken English, along with excellent writing skills, required; proficiency in one or more of RFA's broadcast languages a bonus. Pay is $25/hour on a schedule of up to 20 hours/week.
