Village Volunteers is seeking an Office & International Volunteer Program Manager with strong attention to detail and excellent communication skills. While this is part time and not high paying, we are ooking for someone who understands our core values and wants to be on the team to grow the organization in support of the mission. This position is based in Seattle and is supervised by the Executive Director.
This is a part-time position starting at 15-20 hours, optimally three days per week, with great flexibility.
Perform general bookkeeping tasks; donation processing, deposit and data entry into QuickBooks, monthly reconciliations and quarterly reporting.
Distribute funds to international partner organizations and manage the disbursement log.
Maintain contact with global partner organizations, program directors and donors.
Produce tax letters & thank you letters for donors.
A plus for:
Social media support for Constant Contact, Twitter, Facebook and Instagram.
Update the website as needed with Executive Director using Wordpress. Will train
International Volunteer Program Duties:
Work with volunteer applicants to determine international program placements based on their skills and interests with Executive Director.
Maintain frequent communication with applicants, current volunteers and alumni.
Create itineraries and help volunteers prepare for their international volunteer project.
Invoice volunteer program participants.
Work closely with the Executive Director on marketing the volunteer programs.
Friendly and personable with an ability to maintain relationships with volunteers, donors and international partner programs.
Organized and detail oriented.
Exceptional written and verbal skills.
Ability to be flexible and adaptable to a wide variety of tasks.
International travel and experience abroad strongly preferred but not necessary.
