Position description

DO YOU WANT TO WORK FOR A PURPOSE DRIVEN, INTERNATIONAL, SOLIDARITY BASED AND NOT FOR PROFIT ASSOCIATION?

AIM looks for a project manager based in Brussels.

We are looking for a project manager to work in a dynamic and international team in the area of healthcare and social security.

Who are we?

AIM is the International Association of Mutual benefit societies. We have members in Europe, Latin America, Africa and the Middle East and strive for access to health care for all without inequalities. Our priority is to advocate at European and international level for better health and social care. As a member driven organisation, we have two main tasks:

  • advocating for access to healthcare for all without inequalities, fairer medicine prices, promotion of not for profit, solidarity-based health systems, health in all policies, patient centredness in digital health as well as international cooperation to achieve Universal Health Coverage towards European and international institutions;
  • being a platform for our members to share knowledge, information and innovation.

Whom are we looking for?

We are looking for a person with 3 to 5 years of experience as policy advisor or project manager in lobbying European legislation on health, pharmaceuticals and/or social economy. Our new colleague needs to have a proven track record of and/or be open minded to working in an international environment with different cultures and languages.

If you are enthusiastic about lobbying European Institutions and International Institutions such as ILO, WHO and OECD, you are the right person for us. On the one hand, you will be responsible for several policy areas and prepare and support AIM’s working groups and events. On the other hand, you will collaborate with our members in a region (Europe, Africa and the Middle East, Latin America) and foster knowledge exchange between them.

Our new colleague should be a team player, have diplomatic talent, be a good communicator and have social media skills. We require excellent spoken and written knowledge of English and French or Spanish or any other European language.

What are we offering?

We offer a dynamic, learning and autonomous work environment in a small international team. We offer a varied, responsible position that is carried out independently and in coordination with the executive director, colleagues and members. Our working conditions include partial teleworking and an attractive salary package.
