PH International (registered under the legal name Project Harmony, Inc.) was founded in 1985 for the purpose of cultural and educational exchanges between the then-USSR and the United States. It is an international non-profit with 40 years of experience focusing on civic engagement, cross-cultural learning, and increased opportunities in the digital age. The U.S. headquarters is located in Waitsfield, VT, with projects implemented globally. Over the past forty years, more than 15,000 individuals have participated in PH’s international exchange programs in the U.S. and globally. Today, PH International’s mission is to build strong global communities by fostering civic engagement, cross-cultural learning, and increased opportunities in the digital age. Duties

PH International (Project Harmony, Inc.) is seeking a full-time Program Manager to support the planning and implementation of international sports-based exchange programs funded by the U.S. Department of State. Based in our Waitsfield, Vermont headquarters on a hybrid work schedule, the Program Manager will coordinate all aspects of assigned exchange programs, including logistics, partner communication, participant support, financial management, and post-program evaluation. The Program Manager will be responsible for leading at least three domestic and three international two-week sports diplomacy exchanges annually, supporting adult coaches, educators, and youth influencers to implement community impact projects and build global networks of sports leaders. The position requires strong organizational skills, cross-cultural communication, and, ideally, some background or knowledge of grant compliance or budgets.

Qualifications

This is an excellent entry-level opportunity for someone with a passion for international education, sports for social change, and public diplomacy to join a small, mission-driven nonprofit and make a global impact. Experience organizing or participating in a State Department exchange programs, federal grants compliance, and/or fluency in a foreign language are a plus.
