As a Communications Assistant you will play a leading role in our energetic and tight-knit team, leveraging your extensive experience to advise our clients. You will liaise with a broad network of freelancers and suppliers, and will report directly to the Managing Director.

Want to join our team?

We are seeking a Brussels-based, driven individual with creative flair, an eye for detail, a desire to learn and strong organisational skills.

      • Do you hold (or are completing) a Master’s degree in a relevant field (Communication, Journalism, European Studies, Political Science, etc.)?

      • Do you have an excellent level of spoken and written English (C1/C2) and proficiency in spoken French (B2)?

      • Are you enthusiastic to work with European and transnational organisations and associations?

      • Are you an EU citizen or in possession of an EU work visa?

Desirable

      • Do you have a good understanding of the European policy landscape?

      • Have you worked previously in an agency environment or within a communications team?

      • Consider yourself social media savvy, competent at writing and able to juggle multiple projects?

Your Responsibilities

      • Support the coordination and production of communication materials e.g. merchandise, social media assets, podcasts, animations/videos, newsletters, etc.

      • Participate in the organisation of high-level events.

      • Contribute to the creation and management of communication campaigns and strategies.

      • Play a role in researching and preparing proposals for potential or current clients.

      • Conduct analytics monitoring and contribute to producing performance reports.

      • Prepare content for, and oversee EU-turn’s LinkedIn account and website.

What we offer

      • A 6-month paid internship based in Brussels beginning Autumn 2025

      • As a trainee at EU-turn, you will have the opportunity to join an experienced, value-driven team and to discover how a small, established communications agency operates.

      • Gain hands-on experience across multiple sectors and services.

      • Remuneration based on either your University agreement or, when possible, a “Convention d’immersion professionnelle”.

      • Hybrid working with minimum 3 days in the office.

      • Possibility of contract renewal or offer of a more permanent contract.
