Climate Alliance is seeking a Senior Project Coordinator (m/f/d) to lead the delivery of the Energy Poverty Advisory Hub (EPAH), a flagship EU initiative supporting municipalities across Europe in addressing energy poverty.
For over 35 years, Climate Alliance member municipalities have been acting in partnership with indigenous rainforest peoples for the benefit of the global climate. With over 2,000 members spread across more than 25 countries, Climate Alliance is Europe’s largest city network dedicated to comprehensive and equitable climate action.
The Energy Poverty Advisory Hub’s (EPAH) mission is to become the centre of energy poverty experience and expertise in Europe, providing direct support, online training, and research to local authorities and civil society organisations and by building a collaborative network of all stakeholders interested in acting to combat energy poverty in Europe.
Climate Alliance has coordinated the initiative from the start and works closely with the partner organisations AISFOR, Akaryon, Ecoserveis and Nova School for Science and Technology. In addition, 20 national organisations are closely involved, supporting EPAH’s mission at local level. The activities of the current phase will last till December 2028.

You will combine strategic coordination, technical oversight, and stakeholder management across a large European consortium, working closely with the European Commission and local authorities.
You will lead key activities within the Energy Poverty Advisory Hub (EPAH), a flagship initiative coordinated by Climate Alliance. The role focuses on overseeing technical content development and high-quality support to municipalities. You will direct multidisciplinary teams—including national experts and communication specialists—to deliver local action on energy poverty, from assessment through to the planning and implementation of concrete measures.
As part of both the EPAH team and the Climate Alliance Brussels office, you will work closely with colleagues across the organisation, including headquarters in Frankfurt. The position offers a strong leadership mandate, with opportunities to shape strategic direction, contribute to project acquisition, and further strengthen Climate Alliance’s role as a leading actor on energy poverty across Europe.

The overall objective is to lead support for local authorities by providing project management and technical expertise, including overall management of the EPAH contract.
More specifically:
The contract will be made between the individual and Climate Alliance under the Belgian law. The corresponding assignment is based on a 2-year full-time contract (with a possibility to be extended / converted into a permanent position) starting as soon as possible.
