Course Description: Global Political Economy and Development (International Affairs Program)

Wake Forest University School of Professional Studies is seeking highly qualified candidates to develop and teach the Global Political Economy and Development course in the online Master of International Affairs program. The ideal candidate is a professional who understands the theory and practice of International Affairs, along with recent trends and innovations in the industry.

In this course, students will examine the interplay of politics and economics in shaping development strategies worldwide. Students will assess the influence of global markets, development finance, trade policy, data trends, and international institutions on sustainable growth.

Students meet face-to-face in a virtual classroom environment weekly over an academic term, providing them the opportunity to reinforce coursework materials, apply academic concepts, and participate in focused discussions with faculty and colleagues.

Compensation for developing a 3.0 credit course= $10,000

Compensation for teaching a 3.0 credit course= $5,000
