The World Vision EU Representation office works to support World Vision’s engagements with theinstitutions of the European Union (EU). The Brussels-based office pursuits two main strategic goals:

Purpose

The Humanitarian Advocacy and Policy Specialist will contribute to the optimal functioning of WorldVision’s EU Representation (EUREP) and to the achievement of its strategic objectives: engagement withthe EU is sustained, institutional funding pipeline is strengthened, relationships with strategic EU actorsand partners are nurtured, World Vision continues to be recognised as a credible and impactful EU-facingorganisation, for the well-being of children.

Within these objectives, the Humanitarian Advocacy and Policy Specialist will specifically contribute toWV Partnership’s relations with European Union entities in order to enhance World Vision’s humanitarianmission and impact, by managing policy and advocacy actions around EU humanitarian action and byinfluencing EU policies and funding environments around children in crises and fragile contexts.
