The National Counterterrorism Center's Directorate of Intelligence (NCTC/DI) is seeking a highly motivated officer to lead an effort that monitors, analyzes, and integrates all-source intelligence on counterterrorism (CT) issues for a broad set of USG customers and partners. The organization provides warning of threats to US persons or interests within the Near East region; formulates and communicates analysis to inform policy and support operations; collaborates with partners across Government to identify risks and opportunities; and drives intelligence collection through regular interaction, formal evaluations, and structured requirements.

Provide skilled guidance and leadership to multiple teams in the production of well-crafted sophisticated, complex analytic finished intelligence products on sometimes controversial or particularly difficult issues in support of United States (US) foreign policy and national security objectives; review final analytic products, written and oral, for clarity, organization, accuracy, and logic; effectively explain highly complex concepts and results to non-expert customers and tailor products to correspond to customer needs.
Manage a professional staff in the planning and production of a broad range of finished intelligence products in support of United States (US) foreign policy and national security objectives and serve as an expert* within the Office of the Director of National Intelligence (ODNI).

Required Skills:
At least 10 years' experience in counterterrorism analysis, leading teams and mentoring analysts. Intelligence Community (IC) experience required with a strong emphasis on interagency experience.
Foreign language skills desired, IC front office experience, deployment experience.
Demonstrated ability to manage and promote the development and use of a broad range of methodological tools and approaches to research, analyze, and present information.
Be able to develop clear goals and expectations for analysts and the branch.
Demonstrated ability to effectively and efficiently address employee skill deficiencies or performance shortcomings and take measurable steps to increase proficiency; extensive ability to delegate responsibility and empower team chiefs to make decisions.
Ensure officers receive appropriate mentoring, training, and professional development, and aid their growth by appropriately assigning challenging tasks and flagging growth opportunities, while balancing mission needs.
