Key competences and experience
MEDEF is looking for a EU Senior Manager to reinforce the Brussels office.
The responsibilities of the selected candidate will include among others:
- Monitoring and analyzing legislative and regulatory developments within the EU institutions and, when relevant, in cooperation with the headquarters;
- Preparation of- and reporting on- internal and external meetings;
- Developing of advocacy material, including visuals, internal briefing documents and position papers;
- Helping to promote the positions towards the European Institutions;
- Contributing to the organisation of conferences and workshops;
- Contributing to the weekly internal newsletter and other communication material.
Qualifications
- University degree in a relevant field (European law/Politics, Political science, etc.);
- At least 10 years of professional experience in EU affairs;
- Full professional proficiency in French and English with excellent writing skills;
- Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills;
- A flexible and proactive attitude to work combined with an autonomous working style;
- Ability to thrive under pressure and keep to tight deadlines;
- Team player, able to build good working relationships with colleagues;
- Collaborative approach, with the ability to work both independently and as part of a team;
- A service-minded approach;
- Recognized commitment to ethics and transparency.
