Project Brief:

The BRAC Migration Programme is implementing a project titled ‘Strengthening Safe Migration Service and Referral Platform (MSEP)’ to create awareness on safe migration among community people. The main objective of the project is to promote safe migration and make the prospective migrants and their families aware of the migration-related services that they can avail in need. This project intervention is aimed to advocating and facilitating safe, orderly, regular, and responsible migration, contributing to decent employment opportunities free of exploitation and helping migrants and their family members access the migration-related support and services provided by different government and non-government organizations. Through the implementation of this project, the aspirant migrants and other stakeholders will get to know the steps of safe migration, laws, calculation of costs and benefits that will help to take accurate decisions. The prospective migrants and their family members will be responsible for making the migration choice in regard to migration cost and earning flow. The project duration is July-September 2026.

Job Purpose:

This position is responsible for ensuring high-quality reporting, documentation, and information management by collecting, compiling, analyzing, and maintaining accurate project data and records, and preparing timely reports, case stories, and donor documentation. Additionally, this role supports evidence-based project monitoring, coordination, and decision-making for the BRAC Migration Programme.

Key Responsibilities:

• Coordinate with field teams and provide technical guidance to ensure the effective implementation of project activities.
• Support the overall implementation of field-level project activities, including meetings, training sessions, workshops, and community events.
• Verify visa-related information of potential and prospective migrants through field-level data collection, validation, and documentation.
• Implement field-level awareness campaigns and community mobilization initiatives to promote safe migration and project objectives.
• Conduct regular field visits to monitor project progress, ensure quality implementation, identify challenges, and report significant findings to Programme Management.
• Prepare and submit monthly, quarterly, donor, and project progress reports, case stories, and other required documentation.
• Develop and maintain project work plans and schedules to ensure timely completion of activities, milestones, and deliverables.
• Supervise, mentor, and coordinate project team members to ensure effective collaboration and efficient implementation of project activities.
• Maintain effective communication and coordination with relevant stakeholders, local authorities, and partner organizations to facilitate smooth project implementation.

Safeguarding responsibilities:

• Ensure the safety of Programme Participants, people who come into contact with the organisation and team members from any harm, abuse, neglect, harassment and exploitation including sexual exploitation and abuse (SEA) to achieve the programme's goals of safeguarding implementation. Act as a key source of support, guidance and expertise on safeguarding for establishing a safe working environment.
• Follow the safeguarding reporting procedure in case any reportable incident takes place and encourage others to do so.
• Practice, promote, and endorse the issues of safeguarding policy among team members and ensure the implementation of safeguarding standards in every course of action. 

Qualifications

Educational requirements:

Bachelor's Degree in Sociology, Social Work, International Relations, English or any other discipline

Experience requirements:

Freshers are encouraged to apply; however, 1 year of related working experience is preferred.

Additional Requirements:

• Demonstrated experience in leading multi-national projects and coordinating cross-functional teams.
• Strong cross-cultural communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to work effectively in diverse environments.
• Proven experience in budget planning, cost control, and efficient resource management.
