The Role
In this highly visible role you will research and publish reports and commentaries on South Korea’s energy mix and transition pathways across key technologies. Working as part of a regional team, and with diverse stakeholder groups across the region, you will evaluate prospects across economic, financial, energy security, and decarbonization considerations, collaborating with internal and external partners, including policymakers, financial institutions and industry experts, to maximise research impact. IEEFA is seeking a progressive energy finance expert who is committed to IEEFA’s mission. You should have relevant financial/energy qualifications and energy and financial analysis expertise, gained in either the finance or energy sector, and a strong understanding of the key drivers of South Korea’s energy transition. Whether your experience is from banking and finance, a ratings or consulting firm, or the energy sector, you will have strong English writing, reporting, and presentation skills and multinational experience or exposure.
