Reuters is looking for an excellent journalist to take on the job of Foreign Policy Editor in Washington. The editor will lead a strong team of foreign policy and national security correspondents in Washington and help Reuters stand out on some of the world's biggest stories, including the U.S. relationships with China and Russia and crises from Syria and Afghanistan to North Korea and the South China Sea.

The editor will lead the file, running the team on breaking news stories and delivering strong enterprise work across the foreign policy file. She or he will also work closely with the editor in charge for national security and foreign affairs to drive deep investigative journalism around key foreign policy stories, and with bureaus around the world to take full advantage of Reuters' global reach.
