International Cooperation Analyst

Key Role:

Plan, organize, and coordinate security cooperation activities in support of a service-level headquarters. Serve as subject matter expert on international cooperative research, development, and acquisition (ICRDA) agreements and activities. Serve as a conduit of critical information between the service-level headquarters and research commands or centers and program offices. Analyze proposed international agreements for equitability requirements and ensure packages are properly completed for submission to service-level headquarters. Provide status briefings on international agreements and activities occurring within the research commands or centers and program offices. Participate in meetings or teleconferences with senior-level commands, representatives, and foreign partners to provide recommendations concerning the development of international agreement packages. Assist with coordinating the development, preparation, and execution of senior-level bilateral forums to support cooperative partnership development. This position is located in Arlington, VA.


-2+ years of experience working with senior leaders at the SES or GO level in a DoD environment, including research and development or science and technology, acquisition, security cooperation, or the military
-Experience with working in cross-cultural environments
-Ability to work in a fast-paced, diverse environment
-Ability to manage competing priorities and emergent tasks effectively and efficiently
-Active Secret clearance
-BA or BS degree

Additional Qualifications:

-Experience with the US Army
-Knowledge of security cooperation policies and procedures
-Knowledge of service headquarters roles and responsibilities
-BA or BS degree in Engineering, International Affairs, International Relations, Political Science, or Government preferred; MA or MS degree a plus
