BAE Systems is seeking a mid-level intelligence analyst to provide high-value counter-terrorism analytics for an important government customer. The candidate will research and produce all-source counterterrorism studies and products focused on groups and networks operating in various geographic areas to support senior U.S. government and DoD audiences. The candidate will produce strategic-level all-source production in various product lines, such as the DID, DI-Short, DI-Long, NTB, Current, PDB, WIRE, etc., on terrorist activities to include their operational capabilities, internal security, organizational facilities, and tactics, techniques, and procedures (TTP) in order to support national-level counterterrorism planning and operational missions.
Typical Education & Experience
Bachelor's Degree with four years of full time active-duty intelligence experience OR six full years in intelligence in lieu of a degree.
Required Skills and Education
Bachelor or Master’s degree with 4-6 years of intelligence analysis experience, or, specialized training & 4-8 years’ intelligence analysis experience, or, equivalent intelligence/academic experience.
Preferred Skills and Education
The successful candidate must have experience producing original all-source analysis from unevaluated/raw classified data by fusing all major intelligence disciplines (HUMINT, SIGINT, IMINT, etc). Candidate must have a working knowledge of Intelligence Community reporting methods (TD, TDX, IIR, TIR, etc). Candidate must also have experience with various message handling systems and MS Office suite.
Working knowledge of: counterterrorism analysis; Analyst Notebook, Palantir or other spatial tools; JWICS analytic tools; familiarity with customer's finished intelligence products; working knowledge of DNI analytic sourcing and writing standards; degree in a related discipline (International Relations/Security, Terrorism) also a plus.
