The School of Politics, Security, and International Affairs at the University of Central Florida (UCF) invites applications for a nine-month, tenure-earning assistant professor position, with an anticipated start date in August 2020. The candidate is expected to specialize in American Politics with a focus on broadly defined domestic/international security issues including, but not limited to, cyber, economic, environmental, food, gender, and foreign policy policing. The candidate is also expected to teach various quantitative methods courses at the doctoral level. The School of Politics, Security, and International Affairs offers an M.A. Program in Political Science and a Ph.D. Program in Security Studies that produces cutting-edge research in conflict studies and human security. Its undergraduate programs enroll approximately 1,400 majors in Political Science and International and Global Studies.
