IDS International is seeking candidates for our 2020 Spring Internship Positions! We have a variety of business and operations focused teams seeking enthusiastic, organized, and self-motivated undergraduate or graduate students to join us for the summer. As an IDS intern, you will develop professional skills while working in a dynamic team-oriented environment.

Responsibilities may include:

  • Assist in developing cyber scenarios, potentially with virtual machines.
  • Research and content development for the SMEIR platform (social media).
  • Build storyboards, help build scenarios.
  • Support the Cyber department on any projects (research, administrative, business development, operational).
  • Any other duties as needed.


  • Undergraduate (seniors highly preferred) or graduate student studying Cyber Security, Computer Science or another relevant degree.
  • Prior technical experience in coding, software or hardware.
  • Eager and quick to learn new systems and software.
  • Dynamic personality ready to contribute where needed.
  • Well-organized, self-motivated, and able to manage deadlines independently.
  • Editing, writing experience, and research experience strongly preferred.
  • Superb attention to detail and proven ability to execute highly specific tasks.
  • Excellent understanding of MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint.

This paid internship is part-time (approximately 25 hours a week) and for 3 months with the possibility to continue into the summer.

Employee needs to be able to sit at a workstation for extended periods; use hand(s) to handle or feel objects, tools, or controls; reach with hands and arms; talk and hear. Most positions require ability to work on desktop or laptop computer for extended periods of time reading, reviewing/analyzing information, and providing recommendations, summaries and/or reports in written format. Must be able to effectively communicate with others verbally and in writing. Employee may be required to occasionally lift and/or move moderate amounts of weight, typically less than 20 pounds. Regular and predictable attendance is essential.
