Director, Human Capital Business Partner, Guidehouse Managed Services
The Director, Human Capital Business Partner role is the front line human capital team leader and professional working directly with business leadership on all aspects of human capital including workforce management, talent development, employee experience, compensation, and change management. In this role, you will be expected to work collaboratively and in a consultative fashion with business leadership to effectively align workforce strategies and practices with business objectives. You must be able to create the synergy needed to provide the best opportunities for success for all parties.
This will include the development of business specific solutions in talent acquisition and management, capability advancement, succession planning, attrition, policy interpretation and compliance, performance management, and compensation management. You will be expected to provide insightful, confidential and business-focused guidance to leadership on all matters related to employee and organization development. This will be specific to the provision of services to clients through an outsourced services model where the client has hired Guidehouse to manage services on their behalf. A key part of the role will also include functioning as a change agent to the business, assisting in designing processes, process improvement and approaches to support and enable continued evolution of the organization to align with market conditions.
In addition to the critical connection to business leadership, the Director, Human Capital Business Partner will team closely with, and proactively communicate needs to, the Human Capital CoEs (Centers of Excellence) to develop integrated solutions. The Director will work collaboratively across Human Capital functions (compensation, benefits, recruiting, performance management, learning and development, etc.) to ensure delivery of value-added service to all employees that support business objectives.
This position reports to the Chief Human Capital Officer and will lead a team of 4 HCBPs across multiple sites in the US.
The ideal candidate will have demonstrated the ability to help build a dynamic organization plan and execute constructive change from an acquisition to organic growth-oriented culture. Additionally, they will have a broader focus on metrics and monitoring/analyzing data and trends to identify potential opportunities of risk
