Responsibilities:

Syntelligent is seeking a Senior Policy Analyst with expertise in the Asia-Pacific region, with a current TS/SCI and CI Poly (or ability to obtain on prior to starting) for an immediate position on a funded, awarded contract at a government location in Washington, D.C.

 

 

The successful candidate must possess Senior/SME-level Asia-Pacific regional expertise and is cleared at the TS/SCI with CI Poly level.

 

 

Tasks will include:

Provide Senior/SME strategic policy analysis in support of Senior Department of Defense customers for the Asia-Pacific region – expertise in East, Northeast, South or Southeast Asia is required.

Qualifications:

Required Experience:

  • Must be effective communicator to range of customers and stake holders (i.e. counterparts and action officers in other Joint Staff, COCOM, IC, and interagency organization,
  • Need to be comfortable briefing DoD-level J2 seniors (J2, VJ2, DJ2) and other senior customers (GO/FO/SES) regularly. Need to instill confidence in J25 leadership of this ability.
  • Must understand the interagency process, roles of combatant commands, and different intelligence equities within the Joint Staff
  • Knowledge of the intelligence community (IC) and Combatant Command environments
  • Possession of excellent oral and written communication skills
  • MA/MS degree and over 10 years of experience, or BA/BS and over 18 years of experience intelligence analysis supporting the IC or U.S. military
  • (REQUIRED) Current Intelligence Fundamentals Professional Certification (or higher DIE Certification) or ability to obtain it within 90 days of hire (https://dodcertpmo.defense.gov/IFPC/).
  • Security Clearance (MANDATORY) ACTIVE TS/SCI with CI Poly (or ability to obtain one prior to starting)

Desired Experience:

  • SME-level knowledge of Asia-Pacific culture, military, religion, foreign policy, or politics
  • TS/SCI clearance with a current polygraph
