Islamic Relief Worldwide is currently recruiting for the position of ‘Global Programme Accountability & Learning Lead’ to join the International Programmes Division. The post holder will, as part of IRW’s Monitoring, Evaluation, Accountability, and Learning (MEAL) team, lead on embedding a culture of accountability and learning supported by evidence and data and contribute to the development of quality programming. They will lead on ensuring that IRW accountability work is shared, learned from and communicated to key internal/external stakeholders, whilst reviewing, developing and managing processes which enable this. The post holder leads on verification and assurance against internal and external international standards with a focus on IRW Quality Management System and the Core Humanitarian Standard (CHS). They will provide MEAL support to specific donor funded programmes, contribute to the development of digital MEAL and knowledge management systems and support in the production and dissemination of learning products.

The successful candidate will have:

· Experience of leading on quality, accountability and feedback frameworks in an INGO environment

· Excellent knowledge of current sector trends in relation to accountability or MEAL including operational knowledge of the Core Humanitarian Standard (CHS)

· Experience in organisational learning and knowledge management tools, systems and processes

· Fluency of written skills in English with experience of producing learning papers

· Strong communication and cross-organisational coordination skills

· Skills or experience in digital data collection and data analysis (Excel, PowerBI, Kobo or other tools) and/or knowledge of digital MEAL systems**
