Sarah Lawrence College announces an opening for a Visiting Faculty Position in Politics for a half- time position for the 2021-22 academic year. Methodological approach is open and candidates may be able to tailor courses to their own research and teaching interests.
We are open to to considering a variety of proposed course subjects but especially interested in courses on: the media and democracy, the political economy of the American electorate, environmental politics, race and American politics, and/or the politics of the American welfare state. A commitment to teaching excellence is indispensable. We may have some flexibility in terms of whether this position is structured as full time for a single semester or half-time for the entire year.
