The Barcelona Institute for Global Health (ISGlobal) is a cutting-edge institute addressing global public health challenges through research, translation to policy and education. ISGlobal has a broad portfolio in communicable and non-communicable diseases including environmental and climate determinants, and applies a multidisciplinary scientific approach ranging from the molecular to the population level. Research is organized in three main areas, Malaria and other Infectious Diseases, Child and Maternal Health, and Urban Health, Climate & Non-Communicable Diseases. What we are looking for
We are seeking a scientific and policy coordinator to join the new Hub on Preparedness, Response, Surveillance and Resilience, created in the aftermath of the covid-19 crisis. The candidate will work under the supervision of Prof Elisabeth Cardis and policy director Gonzalo Fanjul and alongside the other teams within the preparedness working group. His/her main tasks include conducting a review and inventory of ISGlobal’s experience in this area; supporting with the development of contents, scientific proposals and policy positions; and facilitating meetings and group work.
