The Barcelona Institute for Global Health (ISGlobal) is a cutting-edge institute addressing global public health challenges through research, translation to policy and education. ISGlobal has a broad portfolio in communicable and non-communicable diseases including environmental and climate determinants, and applies a multidisciplinary scientific approach ranging from the molecular to the population level. What we are looking for
We are seeking a scientific and policy coordinator to join the new Hub on Preparedness, Response, Surveillance and Resilience, created in the aftermath of the covid-19 crisis. The candidate will work under the supervision of Prof Elisabeth Cardis and policy director Gonzalo Fanjul and alongside the other teams within the preparedness working group. His/her main tasks include conducting a review and inventory of ISGlobal’s experience in this area; supporting with the development of contents, scientific proposals and policy positions; and facilitating meetings and group work.
