Position description

This is an exciting opportunity to support the RTX in ensuring our Information Systems are compliant with export import regulations. The Export Import (EXIM) Business System Analyst acts as the first level Global Trade reviewer of Information Systems (IS) for Enterprise Services (ES) as well as provide guidance on the application of relevant U.S. Export / Import Control Laws and Regulations and Raytheon Technologies policies and procedures. Major responsibilities include: 

  • Support a long term project by conducting Information System (IS) reviews to determine whether existing IS meets standard export controls requirements to ensure compliance with International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) and Export Administration Regulations (EAR).
  • Coordinate with IS System Administrators to ensure all IS system information is complete and accurate.
  • Verify and document successful implementation of export control requirements for the IS through testing system to ensure controls implemented correctly, operating as intended, and producing the desired outcome to meet export control requirements for the IS.
  • Participate/support compliance activities such as self-assessments, internal and external audits.
  • Enter, maintain and analyze data and records to meet Raytheon Technologies policies and standards
  • Other duties to directly support the needs of the long-term project

Qualifications

Required Skills:

  • 4 - 6 plus years Export / Import experience and application of regulations (e.g. ITAR, EAR)
  • The ideal candidate must be adept with the following tools:All Microsoft Office products (In particular Word, PowerPoint and Excel)
  • Adobe Professional

Desired Skills:

  • Prior experience in assessing IT / digital technology solutions for compliance with Export / Import regulations
  • Prior experience in supporting compliance organizations. 

Education Required:
Bachelor's degree (preferably in business, international relations, political science or related field)
