The Department is seeking applications for part-time, fixed-term faculty positions (.90 FTE or less) as Teaching Instructor, Teaching Assistant Professor, Teaching Associate Professor, or Teaching Professor for one or more semesters during the upcoming 2021-2022 academic year. Classes for which instructors are needed are both face-to-face and distance education and at the graduate and undergraduate levels. The classes are in the fields of political science, international studies, public administration, comparative politics and security studies.

The Department of Political Science is one of sixteen departments in the Thomas Harriot College of Arts and Sciences at Each Carolina University. The Department is composed of 14 full-time faculty. It offers BS and BA degrees in political science and minors in public administration, comparative politics/international relations, leadership studies, and security studies at the undergraduate level. It is also home to the multidisciplinary studies majors in security studies and international studies.
