The OneVoice Movement is a global initiative that supports grassroots activists in Israel, Palestine, and internationally who are working to build the human infrastructure needed to create the necessary conditions for a just and negotiated resolution to the Israeli-Palestinian conflict. Role Overview

Reporting to the Development Manager, the Development & Operations Assistant will support and help execute the day-to-day needs for OneVoice’s fundraising portfolio, including events, campaigns, tours and consistent donor stewardship. The Development & Operations Assistant will also work directly with the executive staff, board and fellow team members to provide operational, administrative, scheduling and logistical support. 

The Development & Operations Assistant should be extremely detail-oriented, a great communicator, highly organized, tech savvy; and have the willingness to take initiative and the astuteness to anticipate organizational needs. We are looking for someone who is looking to learn the ins and outs of nonprofit development and operations from the ground up, and is prepared to lead on data entry and manage our CRM system. 

This role is based in New York City. 

What You’ll Do

Lead on fundraising systems, tracking and reporting 

  • Deposit checks and ensure appropriate tracking of all donations, including via PayPal and other sources 
  • Manage CRM (Salesforce), including training interns on functionality and best practices and ensuring accuracy
  • Work with finance team to regularly reconcile donor and income tracking with Quickbooks 
  • Create monthly and annual development reports 

Play an integral role within the development team and all fundraising activities 

  • Participate in annual fundraising strategy development 
  • Work closely with program and communications team members to brainstorm new and creative fundraising campaigns and ensure effective implementation 
  • Help plan and staff fundraising events like salons, policy briefings, national fundraising tours ++
  • Facilitate engagement and outreach with donors on behalf of the executive leadership
  • Ensure all fundraising materials are up to date and oversee printing and distribution of annual report


Support the day to day operations of the organization

  • Support executive staff and board with scheduling and logistics
  • Support executive staff with operational items
  • Coordinate logistics for quarterly team and board meetings  
  • Manage and regularly check the PO box and other office mail
  • Act as a conduit with building management for office space and storage unit
  • Process payments and manage media, communication tools and other subscriptions 

What you bring to the job

  • 1-2+ years of work experience in a professional setting (nonprofits, business, etc.)
  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to maintain composure under pressure
  • Ability to multitask and work in collaboration with team members
  • Self starter that excels in anticipating logistical and organizational needs
  • Excellent communications and interpersonal skills
  • Tech-capabilities and ability to manage CRM effectively, as well as proficiency in Excel, Powerpoint, and other Microsoft & Google suite applications 
  • Interest in the Middle East and an understanding of international and U.S. political dynamics
  • A strong belief in OneVoice’s mission and vision 
  • A bachelor’s degree is required, preferably in the social sciences or a related field
