ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY:
Tackling complex fiscal issues and fostering meaningful action requires developing a broad reach with a high impact public profile. To be successful, the Foundation must leverage sophisticated communications strategies geared toward public policy “influentials” and the American public at large.
The Associate, Programs will play a critical role in supporting the development and execution of current and brand-new strategic programs that support the mission of the Foundation and strengthen its impact and reach. These programs will be targeted towards Gen Z and other key audiences, will address traditional and emerging issue areas for the Foundation, and will be cross-functional and interdisciplinary, involving a unique blend of grants, partnerships, and internal efforts.
Reporting to the Senior Manager, Programs, the Associate will work collaboratively across the organization. As the Foundation identifies and launches new initiatives and programs, the Associate will work on project management, research, analysis, and implementation. The Associate will also engage with external partners, consultants, and vendors, reflecting the multidisciplinary nature of the initiatives and programs this individual will support. The Associate, Programs will be intellectually curious, operationally focused, and detail oriented. They will be able to act as a utility player and employ a can-do attitude, taking on any task required to support the team and get things done. More specifically, the ideal candidate will bring:
EDUCATION: Bachelor’s degree required. Public policy, political science, economics or related major a plus.
COMPENSATION: Salary and benefits are competitive and commensurate with experience.
