Position description

The contractor shall provide support to the CNGB by serving as a functional domain analyst focusing on Air Threats an Air Defense. The ideal candidate should have a background in the Air and Air Defense domain and all-source analysis with experience briefing senior government officials.

 

 

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES (ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS)

  • Serve as a SME on all matters relating to Air Threats and Air Defense and the broader Combatant Command theater issues.
  • Provide direct support to the CNGB, NGB JS and indirectly, the JCS.
  • Routinely coordinate with DIA functional desks, relevant 3 letter agencies, Combatant Command J2 staffs, Service Intelligence Centers, and Theater MI Brigades.
  • Prepare information briefings and decision briefings to the CNGB in preparation for JCS meetings.
  • Prepare a weekly update brief for the CNGB and the 54 State Adjutant Generals.
  • Assist or lead the preparation of a Daily Update report for the CNGB.

Position Requirements

  • Current Top Secret clearance and SSBI investigation with eligibility to be read on to SCI.
  • Extensive experience authoring and briefing intelligence products.
  • Background in the Space domain and/or Strategic Geo-Political analysis.
  • Experience working as a functional analyst.
  • Comfortable working to manage databases and programs.

    Education: Applicable degree(s): Computer Science, Economics, History, International Affairs, Intelligence, International Relations, International Business, Imagery interpretation, National Security, Satellite Communications, Political Science or Psychology. MSSI preferred.

    Experience: SENIOR
  • Doctorate (PhD) in approved field AND a minimum of six (6) years of experience in associated field; OR
  • Master’s degree in approved field AND a minimum of eight (8) years of experience in associated field; OR
  • Bachelor’s degree in approved field AND a minimum of ten (12) years of experience in associated field
