Position description

We are looking forward to a long-term cooperation with people who possess a deep insight into global economy, geopolitics, foreign affairs or military-related issues. We want you to be our analyst to deliver exclusive content and professional analysis on multiple topics. Your insights will be incorporated into our reports, which will be delivered to our clients to help them make better business or political decisions.

The specific projects we could offer are as follows:
1. Hot-spot issues tracing
You are required to provide first-hand information and timely analysis on global hot-spot issues, which are happening at any corner of the world. The ideal candidates should be sensitive, responsive and perspicacious and could deliver analytical reports under a strict deadline. You will be working as a front-line reporter and also an analyst at the same time. The projects will be offered according to your expertise, resources and where you are based.

2. US foreign and security policies analysis
To help our clients formulate a better business strategy of investment in the United States, we provide consulting services on US foreign policies. We would like you to have a deep comprehension or research about US foreign policies and strategies, especially those towards Indo-Pacific region where most of our clients are located. Mostly, the winner applicants will be given two weeks to finish the analytical reports on what our clients care about. The content will cover US foreign policies, security issues and economic trends.

3. Column for military enthusiasts
To expand our business and services we could provide, we start our military column. We hope you could have detailed and extensive knowledge of military including military strategies, exercises, movements, technology or weapons. You are also welcome to provide wonderful original pictures about work and life in the military. Service experience in the military will an advantage among the applicants.

Qualifications

Ideal skills and experience for this role:
—Previous experience of producing analysis on foreign policies, military or security issues.
—Excellent communication skills and a people person.
—Target focused and driven.
—Ability to work under pressure and to strict deadlines.
—Detailed and extensive knowledge of military or security issues impacting Indo-Pacific Region.
—Educated to degree level in a relevant discipline such as international relations or war studies.
—Experience in governmental and security sectors or service in the military will be an advantage.
