Utilize digital and web-based platforms in the social media promotion of positions and identifying talent to apply to federal positions.
Utilize résumé databases and employee referrals to solicit high caliber talent to consider the NIH as an employer of choice.
Create strategic initiatives for recruitment activities, including the direction of Human Resources Specialists in the areas of NIH branding, marketing, and recruitment events.
Perform various business-focused activities and develop business cases, calculate, and quantify return on investment, engage in the procurement process, and perform budget management and analysis activities.
Advise senior management officials on complex problems and interpretations involving staffing and recruitment and retention mechanisms affecting the placement and retention of staff NIH-wide.
You may qualify for the position, GS-0201, if you meet the following qualifications:
You have completed a master’s or equivalent graduate degree, or 2 full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree or an LL.B. or J.D., if related OR
You must demonstrate in your resume at least one (1) year of specialized experience in either the private or public sector, performing the following types of tasks: serving as an representative of an organization at recruitment and talent sourcing events; advising applicants of future job opportunities for an organization; providing advice and guidance to hiring managers regarding recruitment needs; advising on the use of monetary and non-monetary recruitment incentives; evaluating and assessing recruitment metrics; and developing informational resources to advertise unique and hard to fill positions.
