Position description

Duties

  • Maintains a developmental database of systems including small arms, soldier systems, heavy equipment and munitions.
  • Provides guidance to customers, technical specialists and intelligence analysts regarding transportation methods, costs, and transportation timelines.
  • Processes and schedules requests for items, arranges for and prepares shipping documentation.
  • Applies DoD, Army, Federal and State regulations for shipment of sensitive and hazardous items.
  • Advises on all phases of logistics support for foreign materiel including acquisition, inventory management, transportation and disposal, identifying deficiencies and developing corrective actions.

  • Two year trial/probationary period may be required.
  • In accordance with Change 3 to AR 600-85, Alcohol and Drug Abuse Prevention and Control Program, individual must successfully pass a urinalysis screening for illegal drug use prior to appointment and periodically thereafter.
