Job Description:

The Department of Political Science (POLS) at the American University is seeking to recruit adjunct faculty members in the field of International Relations/Security Studies. The candidate must be able to teach introductory and intermediate level courses in International Relations, Contemporary Foreign Policy, International Organization, Security Studies and International Relations Theory.   

Requirements:

Commitment to teaching and engagement of students is necessary and an active research and practice agenda is recommended. PhD is required at time of appointment.
