Position description

Our team in Brussels advises both international and German clients on the entire spectrum of antitrust, state aid, public procurement, and sanctions law, and a broad range of regulatory issues. Our competition work includes issues raised in the context of cooperation between competitors, sales agreements, behaviour of dominant companies, administrative fines, claims for damages, and support for transactions before the Federal Cartel Office and the EU Commission. In addition, we support all legal issues related to the granting of subsidies and advise subsidy providers, recipients and third parties in registration, complaint and court proceedings. We also support our clients in the drafting, review and implementation of tender procedures and related public procurement issues, and in connection with international sanctions. Finally, we advise clients in connection with a broad range of German and EU regulatory issues, including structuring, procurement procedures in connection with energy and large infrastructure projects, advising on state aid implications for instance in connection with the aviation/airport/logistics industries.

As part of a global practice, we advise our clients on domestic and cross-border transactions in close cooperation with our colleagues in Europe, the USA, Canada, Latin America, Asia, Australia, Africa, the Middle East and Central Asia.
